Hmmm, this somewhat makes sense. I can see that more intelligent people would want to express themselves more openly, are more wise in society and therefore behave differently than many others.

But an interesting concept comes to mind: what if an individual is intelligent, but in fact lacks any social skills?

Is the purpose of the article to discuss things that are evolutionary novelities, or to promote an agenda that liberals, aethists, and monogamist are superior?

I don't think it's biased either way, that's how I took it in at least. I think it's just more of an informational article with statistics, and just so happens to seem like that. At least that's my two cents.

correlation means nothing.

intelligence is not measurable; what's define as intelligence depends on the context.

Maybe, but general intelligence is probably what the article is referring to. And everyone has a level of general intelligence.

What I think you mean by context is specific intelligence in a field?
